All our gyms are open for members, 24 hours
The new long term approach to Covid has been made based on public health advice and reflects high levels of immunity and declining case numbers across New Zealand. This new approach won’t affect the way we currently operate at JustWorkout but should give everyone more confidence it is very safe to visit.
If you are a household contact of a person with Covid you no longer need to isolate, but instead must complete a RAT test each day, for five days. This means if your result is negative and you have no Covid related symptoms you can now come in to workout.
All of the recommended public health measures we have maintained throughout will stay in place as we know they reduce the spread of COVID-19.
These include ensuring our gyms are well-ventilated, sanitised throughout the day, asking members to wipe down equipment after every use, maintain good hand hygiene, coughing or sneezing into their elbows and, most importantly, to stay home and get tested if they have COVID-19 symptoms.
Please note at times your local gym may become temporarily unstaffed due to staff isolating at home. If this happens, members can access the facilities by scanning your membership access card at the barcode scanner located beside the entrance door.
You are still welcome to wear a face mask when you are on the premises and not exercising, practice social distancing, bring your own filled water bottle and towels, and as always, wipe equipment down after each use.
If you attend yoga, Pilates or boxing classes you will need to bring your own mats and boxing gloves too.
