WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS?
Opening hours can be found at the top of each club page. Our clubs are typically closed for public holidays like Queens Birthday and Labour day, or open but unstaffed in the case of our 24HR clubs. To double check opening hours over these times please check our facebook page or give us a call.
HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO BECOME A MEMBER?
Our members range from 14 to over 90 years of age. If you are under 16 years you will need to work out with a parent, guardian over 20 years of age, or with one of our personal trainers.
CAN I TRANSFER MY MEMBERSHIP TO SOMEONE ELSE?
Yes. We will do this on approval of the new member, however this will incur a transfer fee to cover the cost of a new assessment and programme for the incoming new member. Please see reception for details and costs.
CAN I FREEZE MY MEMBERSHIP?
Yes. You may freeze your membership for overseas travel or serious illness of a month or more, up to a maximum of 3 months. Any requests for a membership freeze must be made in writing by completing a form at gym reception or emailing email@example.com. Please note freezes do not reduce your minimum contracted period, which is extended automatically by the amount of time you were away.
AM I CONTRACTED INTO MY EASYPAY MEMBERSHIP?
Yes. We need to uphold the minimum term of your agreement, but if your circumstances change you may ask to buy out the remainder of your agreement or transfer the remaining time to a new joining member as above.
DO YOU HAVE A LIMIT ON MEMBER NUMBERS?
Yes. When considered too busy at peak times we will consider a waiting list. A high quality equipment-to-member ratio is our aim to avoid queuing issues.
THERE ARE A FEW OF US WANTING TO JOIN. CAN WE GET A GROUP SAVING?
Yes, there are savings to be made on groups joining together for 6 months or more depending on your needs and current promotional offers. Please email any requests for group rates to firstname.lastname@example.org
CAN I USE MY MEMBERSHIP CARD AT ALL THE JUSTWORKOUT BRANCHES?
Yes, your membership card will allow you to access all branches including our 24 Hour gyms.
WHAT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS ARE THERE?
We have first aid kits at all branches and most have AEDs. Our staff and personal trainers are REPs (NZ register of exercise professionals) certified and are required to have current CPR & First Aid certificates. Trainers are instructed to check all new members for potential exercise-related health risks and to politely caution any member who is using dangerous exercise form.
WHAT DO PERSONAL TRAINERS CHARGE FOR SESSIONS?
Personal Trainers rates vary depending on qualifications and experience but usually start at around $60 per hour or $35 per half hour. You could also ask them about sharing personal training sessions with your friends or another client, which will assist with your budget. Some of our trainers participate in our Success Starter pack where the gym and trainer subsidise the first 3 sessions for just $99.
WHAT IF I PREFER A DIFFERENT PERSONAL TRAINER?
We encourage you to talk to one of our client services team who can help you find a trainer that best suits your needs. You are welcome to try sessions with different trainers to add valuable training knowledge. Most of our trainers offer a first initial consultation or session free.
CAN I BRING MY OWN PERSONAL TRAINER?
This is possible under special circumstances so it’s best to ask your trainer to email us at email@example.com to apply. We have a careful process to introduce quality, qualified trainers to our membership and there is a an agreement and minimum standard to live up to.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Comfortable, loose clothing or workout gear and footwear that covers your entire foot. You also need to bring a workout towel and drink bottle. For the benefit of others we also suggest you use deodorant when working out at the gym.
